We'll Do It Live Fridays: Machine Mayhem

Being so caught up in what has been dubbed the "snowpocalypse" here in the midwest over the past few days, I totally forgot to throw up my WDILF post.  But don't be worried.  As they say, it's better late than never.  This week's WDILF post involves a band I'm very excited will be featured on this year's upcoming Mayhem Festival.  Check to see who it is after the break.

So while I do have some reservations about the actual headliners of the festival (like seriously, it still bothers me that Megadeth is being out-headlined by Disturbed and Godsmack), I wouldn't let anybody make you believe this year's festival will be bad either.  Quite frankly, that sentiment would be rubbish.  With bands like Trivium, Unearth, Megadeth, In Flames, All Shall Perish, and Kingdom Of Sorrow, why wouldn't you want to go see this show?

As is my style with these WDILF posts, I left out one vital key piece to this Mayhem puzzle.  That key piece, ladies and gentlemen, is Machine Head.  I won't say much more about Machine Head other than Rob Flynn is the efiing boss.  Even though they haven't come out with any new material since their latest 2007 release, The Blackening, I'm still super excited to see them live.  This clip below should give you enough reason as well.  Note how Rob is wearing an "I heart Thrash" shirt with the Testament text style (so metal).  Enjoy.
